The first and most important thing to do once you have lost your pet is to get the word out. Flyers, social media posts, yard signs all bring pets home. Contact your chip company immediately to make sure your information is up to date and report the pet lost.

With years of experience in pet recovery we can employee several tactics in recovering your pet: scent specific trailing dogs, cameras and traps (local to central Florida), remote coaching on lost animal behavior.

In most cases there will not be a "walk up" find. The exceptions to this being if the pet is trapped, injured or unable to move for some reason. Most lost pets move much faster than humans so running them down is not a real possibility. What the trailing dogs are able to do is give a direction of travel and indicate where there is scent of the lost pet. Thus, narrowing down the search area and giving an area of focus. Scent trailing dogs are ONE of many tools used to recover a lost pet.
